COMMISSIONS
Are you currently taking commissions?
As of December 2025, private commissions are ON HOLD until further notice.
But, this may change relatively soon as I continue to expand my services to more businesses and people around Detroit.
Always stay tuned on social media where I am the most active about updating my portfolio and catalogue of work.
INFO / FAQ
Lauren’s work is paid hourly, plus a flat rate for deliverables.
Toggl is an app used by remote workers to track their time. I will take the time to set everything up digitally, and you will recieve a timesheet of everything I did. There are two “phases” of most projects: the research / building of the visual idea, then the execution / making of that idea itself. My policy is that if I accept the project after the first meeting, but it does not reach the execution phase, you will not be charged for the hourly rate of that first phase. This is because no actual design work is being completed, just research, so you won’t pay for the first phase unless it moves forward into the final project or deliverable. Then, the timesheet will be split into these two phases so you will have a solid idea of how much work you are paying for, and how I am using the time.
Discussion with Lauren is required for all projects.
How much? Well, it depends on the scope of the project. But, at least one meeting is required during the process, just to make sure you're getting exactly what you want. I only work with people who's values and moral compass align with my own. This is also why I require some sort of meeting before the process begins.
How Much Would It Cost To Make [...]?
Again, this usually depends on what you want vs. how long it would take. You can always DM or email me for more specifics, but please read this first.
Is There Anything You Won't Do?
If you want me to draw you as a cartoon character, then you're looking for an illustrator, not a designer.
If you want the character to move, you need an animator, not a designer.
My skills are primarily in a digital space, not physical, so I will not be doing any physical pieces or handmade crafts, except printing digital pieces.

I am generally willing to work with anybody who is genuinely interested in what I do, and how it can be applied to their request or idea.
